26th - Llangennith
Fished Llangennith with Valleyboyo, Blackat and Teggy. Even though the weather
was very much against us we had planned this for a while and with maddies ordered we went anyway!
Got to the beach
and saw the sea had been completely flattened off by the strong wind coming off the land, not a bit of surf insight. We didnt
hold much hope of any fish!!
1st cast Blackcat had a flatty which he followed up with a doggie on his 2nd cast. Not a
bad start!
Valleyboyo then had a good doggie which put a real good bend in a spinning
rod!!
Blackcat then landed another flounder
But as the session went on the wind was getting stronger making
it difficult to stand up never mind do some fishing and with weed causing problems we decided to come home early but not before
Teggy landed a flounder on his last cast!
Barrelreef blanked!!
All the fish had come on maddies or crab
Blackcat - 2 flounder, 1 doggie
Teggy - flounder
Valleyboyo - doggie
Barrelreef - Blanked

30th - Newton beach
Barrelreef and Deejay fished the beach in front of the slipway 2 down and
1 up. Baits were whatever was in the freezer.
Barrelreef managed 2 doggies before low water and Deejay had a good knock
but the fish spat the hook.
Nice night but not many bites but good to see Deejay getting out fishing!
